Teachers’ Pension Scheme Benefit Statements

Members of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme will be receiving their annual benefit statements via the internal post over the coming week or so. The statement covers the period up to 31 March 2010.

If you think there are any discrepancies in your service history please email margaret.smith@port.ac.uk with details of your missing service.

If you do not receive a statement by Friday 28 October 2011, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • you have accessed your statement through the TPS website in the last 12 months
  • you are already receiving a pension from the TPS
  • you have not contributed to the TPS
  • you commenced employment at the University after 31 March 2010
  • you are a member of the TPS not permanently employed at the University

Statements for such members will be sent to their home address.

If you are not covered by any of the above and do not receive a statement, please contact Teachers’ Pensions direct with your full name and TP reference number or National Insurance Number:
T: 0845 6066166
E: tpmail@teacherspensions.co.uk

Alternatively, visit the TP website www.teacherspensions.co.uk where you can access your benefit statement using the facility ‘My Pension On-Line’.

If statements are received for staff who have left, are incorrectly addressed or for any other reason cannot be delivered internally, please return to HR Services, University House with a note of the problem.
