The International Office will be welcoming new overseas students from Monday 10 to Sunday 16 September 2012. The week-long programme will include:
- Check-in with the International Office in Nuffield Centre.
- Distribution of information packs and detailed faculty-specific orientation programme.
- Airport pickups from Heathrow airport (Monday 10, Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 only) with transfer to Halls of Residence or private accommodation.
- A selection of guided tours, social and sporting events.
- Registration process.
Thursday 13 September 2012
- Welcome presentations (morning and afternoon sessions) in Richmond Building room LT1.
Friday 14 September 2012
- Information fair in Portland Atrium (exhibitors include Student Support Services and local banks).
- Welcome lunch in Portland Café.
- Halls of Residence registration sessions.
- EAP (English for Academic Purposes) placement sessions.

Opening hours
During Orientation week, the International Office and Nuffield Centre will be open at the following times:
- Monday 10 to Friday 14 September: 08.30am- 6.00pm
- Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September: 11.00am-4.00pm
