How would you interpret ‘Taking a Bite’?
A competition of pictures of any kind – painting, photograph, etching etc – is to be staged at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy. The competition is open to all who use the Academy and our friends in the University.
To enter please email amy.fullick@port.ac.uk or collect an entry form from the Dental Academy reception. There is an entry fee of £3.00 for students and £5.00 for others.
Please bring your artwork along with the entry form and fee to the Dental Academy reception by the 20 November 2012.
No more than two pictures can be entered per person. The artwork will be displayed from Friday 23 November until Friday 14th December when the winner will be announced.
A first prize of £50 will be awarded to the winner.
All work can be collected after the 14 December 2012 from the Dental Academy reception.
Any funds raised by the competition will go to the Art at the Dental Academy fund.
Art at the Dental Academy works to engage staff, students and stakeholders as both audience and participants in recognising and celebrating the arts as positive interventions on the experiences of the Dental Academy building users and by these activities place the Academy within the larger community of the University of Portsmouth and beyond.
