The end of the first teaching block is in sight and you or your friends may be planning to celebrate with a party at your home.
If this might apply to you then please read these tips on how to make it a smooth event that doesn’t cause nuisance to those around you:
- Be considerate of your neighbours and give them warning that you are planning to have a party.
- Agree a time to finish with them – and stick to it.
- Remember, you are responsible for your guests – ensure they leave quietly and the party does not spill out into the street.
- Try to reduce the amount of noise coming from your property by watching bass levels in music and keeping outside doors closed.
- If you do receive a request to reduce the volume – take responsibility and react positively.
- Try to hold parties at the weekend.
- Clear up any debris.
