Please encourage your students to attend February’s Postgraduate Information Day.
Postgraduate Information Days are for anyone considering a postgraduate programme at the University of Portsmouth. Students can meet with our postgraduate subject specialists and faculty admissions teams who will provide information and guidance on the range of Master’s courses and research programmes available at the University.
In addition, some of our current postgraduate students will be available to talk about postgraduate student life at Portsmouth, alongside staff from our Purple Door Careers and Recruitment service, Student Finance, the International Office and the Graduate School.

I am a research student in School of Civil Engineering and Surveying. I resumed late for the October 2012 intake and therefore missed the orientation programme. I was then told there will be another one in February this year of which I am yet to receive any official update on. Can I be informed of the actual date and arrangement?

If it is is the International Orientation day you were hoping to attend then unfortunately it was today. I would suggest contacting the International Office via international.office@port.ac.uk or mahbuba.abdullah@port.ac.uk to discuss alternative arrangements.
If it was not the International Orientation then I would suggest contacting your Faculty Admissions office to discuss further.
