Last year’s in-house mole and skin checking clinics proved extremely popular.
The clinics, Co-ordinated by the Occupational Health Service, in conjunction with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, saw 190 members of staff visit the Specialist Dermatology Nurse to have their skin checked.
Following this success we have decided to run the service again in 2013.
If you are concerned about any moles you have or any skin changes you have noticed, we invite you to take advantage of this service. In particular the nurses will be looking for early signs of skin cancer and will be able to discuss with you how best to protect your skin. They will also be able to advise whether a fast track referral to hospital would be recommended.
The sessions will take place from 9.30am – 3.20pm on the following dates in the Nuffield Centre:
- Wednesday 29 May 2013
- Wednesday 31 July 2013
