Drama and Media Students from Portsmouth University created a PR company called You:PR as part of a unit called ‘Forming a Company’. They hosted an event called Vintage Fashion in Gunwharf Quays Central Square on Friday 18th May which launched a weekend of events called ‘Closer to Fashion’ that is in association with Goodwood. The music accompanying the fashion show was ‘The Three Belles’ .
Goodwood Filming Opportunity

We have been told about an opportunity at Goodwood which may be of interest to film students. It would require approx 10 days filming over the course of the year, and they want student/s to film three action sport athletes – Dougie Lampkin, Martyn Ashton and Kye Forte as they learn to fly at Goodwood.
Portsmouth University Tour Choir – Final Concert of the Season: Sunday 27th May

On Sunday 27th May 3.30pm the final UK concert of the season by The Portsmouth University Tour Choir will take place at John Pounds Memorial Unitarian Church. The choir will sing a mixture of music from the shows and from their recent choir concert in St Mary’s.

Three students who graduated in BA (Hons) Creative and Performing Arts from the University of Portsmouth a year ago and have seen their work for a study unit propel them into stardom as The Three Belles, a 1940s style singing trio.

Creative Campus Initiative (CCI) wins Gold in the creative cultural project category at the London 2012 PODIUM awards ceremony last week. CCI includes University of Portsmouth projects such as New Creatives, A Hundred Seas Rising, Visual Libraries, Love Your Bike, Dysarticulate, The Order of Things 17 and Mapping of Spaces and Sensory Space.
