Basic Typography 03: Understanding Type is Mike’s second published book on the same subject area. Mike is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader MA Graphic Design at UoP CCI. Michael was a director with a successful graphic design company before returning to education to teach full-time.

QAA Announces Photo Competition – deadline 16th August

QAA has launched a photo competition open to any student currently enrolled at a UK further or higher education institution. The prizes are £500 for the winner and £250 for two runners-up. Entrants are being invited to submit their best photographs that demonstrate the competition’s theme of ‘The Student Experience’.
