This year the Faculty is spending £146k on both updating and renewing equipment and additional equipment purchases. Some of the monies will be used to purchase and install 12 U-touch HD screens into Eldon West Wing for use by Architecture 2 days a week and the rest of the Faculty 3 days a week.

The Masters in Sustainable Architecture students within the School of Architecture Anders Petersen, Aglaia Tsigka, Chien Ling Cheong, Bin Xia, Yuan Hou, and Aniekan Usoro supported by CURe have received a Highly Commended Award for their design proposal for the ‘Vauxhall The Missing Link Design Competition’ run by the RIBA and Vauxhall One.

The Royal Television Society has announced the shortlist for the RTS Student Television Awards 2012. Chaired by Patrick Younge, chief creative officer, BBC Vision Productions, the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Awards are judged in four categories including Animation, Entertainment, Factual and Fiction.
