  • Wednesday 12th June 12-4pm

Activities available to visitors on these dates include:

Campus walking tour Halls of residence tour Chat to current students Visit the University Library Call into the Students’ Union office Visit our Sport and Recreation Services Speak to staff in our Housing and Finance Teams Meet a member of academic staff (this is not always possible in term time when staff are teaching)*

There’s no need to book in advance of attending! Simply sign in at the registration desk at St Andrew’s Court Information Centre on arrival, where staff will be on hand to set you on your way. Directions on travelling to Portsmouth and a campus map can be found here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

*The availability of academic staff is subject to time-tabling commitments, but we will do our best to accommodate this wherever possible. Please contact us as far in advance of you visit to enquire about meeting with a member of staff.

Walking Tour

You can visit whenever is convenient for you; by downloading our walking tour guide (below) and taking your own tour of the University with all the information you need to hand. Alternatively, you could download one of our walking tour podcasts for an audio guide on the walking tour. There is an audio only MP3 file and an enhanced version with images, for those of you with this capability on your MP3 player.

If you are coming to visit us to take your own walking tour there are a few of things worth considering:

Feel free to look around most of the communal buildings - including the Student Centre, Library and the student services in the Nuffield Centre. Please note, however, it is not possible for you to go into any main teaching areas.

Meeting with academics - If you wish to speak to an academic or have a tour of the teaching facilities during your visit this needs to be arranged in advance. To do this contact the admissions team for your course - you can find their details on the contacts and departments page.

Time of year - If you visit us in the holidays expect the campus to be quieter than usual, especially in the summer. Also take note of the opening hours - during the summer months some services run shorter opening hours so check the relevant webpage before visiting.

Not sure what department? - If you are unsure as to which department or school runs your course then contact the Information Centre.

Directions to the University can be found on our Maps and Directions page.
