Angela O’Donoghue

I am Irish and from Dublin. At University College Cork, I studied Social Science wanting to get into social work; however I got diverted and went to live in a L'Arche Community in Kilkenny for nine years. After that I studied ministry for two years in Dublin. In 1996 I moved to Sheffield to work as a Hospital Chaplain. Afterwards I was on the team at St Beuno's Retreat House in North Wales. I have been here as the Roman Catholic Lay Chaplain since 2011.

My particular joys are watching a good film, eating chocolate, spending time in the countryside and following the Hothouse Flowers. I am always interested in social and political affairs. I am revived by spending time with family and friends. It would be lovely to meet you.
