I joined the Faculty of Business and Law in 1995 after 32 years in the Procurement Executive and the Navy Department of the Ministry of Defence. I have an aeronautical background serving in various capacities in military aircraft and engine repair, production and project management. I am an experienced auditor having led many Quality Assessments at some of the largest organisations in the defence sector. My last MOD appointment was leading a Software Quality Assurance auditing cell in support of complex weapons projects. I have provided training and consultancy support to many organisations on Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Environmental related topics.
I was the Course Director on the MSc programmes in Strategic Quality Management: After early retirement from the University I now work as a part time lecturer on a number of post graduate courses .
I have provided consultancy and training services to many organisations and am currently researching various organisational management issues including change management, human factors and integrated management.
