I am a Senior research fellow in applied operational research and a member of the Centre for Operational Research and Logistics (CORL) at the University of Portsmouth. I received my PhD from the University of Portsmouth and a MEng from the University of Leeds.
I have been involved in successful research in operational research since 2013. My research covers Operational Research and the development of novel mathematical optimisation models, Flexibility analysis on a supply chain contract, Investigating uncertainty in estimates of parameters in scenarios where data are incomplete or not correctly recorded.
I am currently involved in the development of intelligent gatelines; using situational awareness to improve customer experience, gate throughput and increase gateline staff effectiveness at mainline and metro stations, a Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) funded project.
