Sarah's professional background is in HR and Project Management at IBM (UK) Ltd and the University of Southampton, where she managed several organisational change projects. She currently lectures in Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Cross Cultural Awareness and Research Skills on a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
Sarah's doctoral research at the University of Southampton focused on the interplay between personal and organizational values in the management role, and she gained her professional qualification and Masters in HRM at the University of Portsmouth. Sarah has presented at several international conferences and has recently contributed a chapter to a book on Responsible Leadership.
Before joining the University of Portsmouth, Sarah lived in Prague, Czech Republic, for six years where she taught International Business and Management students at the University of New York in Prague and Prague College. She is fascinated by the manager-organisational relationship and the application of management theory to practice.
