Mrs Sarah Morris
Summary
I joined the university in 2014 after a 25 year career in various management accounting roles in food and technology industries.
In my last role at IBM I recruited and developed placement students and graduates, setting them up for successful careers. This employability focus inspired me to work with young people earlier in their learning journey, hence my move into education.
My corporate experience informs my mission at Portsmouth - to give students the experiences and skills they need to succeed as 21st century accountants. Colleagues teach the technical aspects, my focus is on the soft skills employers value in their on-shore workforce.
