I am a post-doc research fellow in applied operational research and a member of the Centre for Operational Research and Logistics (CORL) at the University of Portsmouth.  

I gained my BSc degree from the Department of Statistics in Middle East Technical University. I hold MSc degree from the TOBB University of Econmics and Technology in Industrial Engineering. Later, I received my PhD from the Department of Management Science at University of Strathclyde. 

My research interests cover combinatorial optimisation, heuristics algorithms applied on various scheduling problems.Currently I am working on multi-criteria decision making on sustainibility within the frame of NEREUS Project which is an Interreg 2-Seas funded project.
