Theresa teaches on a range of units within the Politics and IR Subject Area at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She coordinates International Politics in year 2 of the undergraduate programme. This core unit focuses on Foreign Policy Analysis and Security Studies respectively. Also in year 2, Theresa coordinates Ethnicity and Conflict Resolution. This unit examines the contending theories of the causes of ethnic conflicts and the debates surrounding how such conflicts may be at least managed if not resolved. Theresa is the coordinator too of the Faculty-wide Learning from Experience (LiFE) unit which gives students the chance to take a placement as part of their credited degree programme.
Theresa's publications reflect her expertise in security studies, international relations theory, ethic conflict, and, most recently, research methods.
