I qualified as a diagnostic radiographer from St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2007 after previously completing a bachelor’s degree in politics at the University of Durham. I have acted as both an IPL facilitator and assessor in practice. My interest in trauma and radiography role expansion led me to win charitable funding for and pursue an MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Science (Image interpretation pathway) at the University of Hertfordshire which I completed with commendation in 2012.
As a senior lecturer in the School of Health Sciences & Social Work, my teaching includes trauma radiography, image interpretation and radiation science.
I am currently working towards a PhD with Imperial College in London.
I am currently enrolled on a part-time PhD programme and my research is concerned with the identification and extraction of novel forms of value from diagnostic radiological images.
