Welcome! Here's your intro to the event and what's coming up, from a member of our University Executive Board at the University of Portsmouth, including updates on Connected Degrees at Portsmouth, where your students can customise their university experience by choosing to get the benefits of a placement year when they’re ready.

Students are making different decisions on their future now, and we know many are facing more barriers to higher education than ever.

The Student Room will help you explore the drivers behind student decision making this year, the obstacles they might be facing and reasons they might feel university isn't for them, and what we as advisers and universities can do to support them to overcome those challenges.

• Sport Science: Learn about different courses offered in our Sport programmes, before visiting facilities like our ‘extreme’ laboratories, where you'll learn about the cutting-edge research and technologies that are used by students to enhance athletic performance.
