Participants required to either truthfully, or falsely, recall a memorable event

In each session, participants will be asked to fill out a pre-interview questionnaire and then will either be asked to truthfully recall a memorable event or to lie and pretend that they experienced an event they did not. In the third session, they will complete a post-interview questionnaire and then be debriefed about the study. Participants do not need to prepare anything in advance.
Students requiring participant pool credits will receive 2 course credits. Other participants will be paid £30.
Additionally, if participants are convincing, they will be entered into a draw to win one of three prizes up to £150. The first prize is £150, the second prize is £75, and the third prize is £50. An entry will be given at each time a participant is convincing, thus they potentially have three entries into the draw.
