So many of our Portsmouth Technopole members have been during great things during the lockdown, including cloud solution firm Transalis who has contributed to a worldwide research effort to combat COVID-19 with computer power. In order to support scientific efforts against COVID-19 and other virus threats, Transalis is donating their spare computing resources in its UK data centres to the Rosetta@home project.

John Chrysanthou, Transalis infrastructure manager said: “We have the agility to power up and share any unused capacity to contribute to the Rosetta research while protecting all the essential processor speed that supports our clients”.
