Speaker: Dr Chris Worrall
Dr Chris Worrall, the Innovation Connect Director, is an electronics engineer who has designed communications equipment for Siemens Telecoms. He has worked as a consultant for Roke Manor Research delivering technical advice into commercial businesses spanning global product design companies to Formula 1 racing teams and has also spent a number of years working as a Science Advisor for the Ministry of Defence. Chris will share his experience and take you through how to develop a different start-up approach to FastTrack your business ideas and stand out to your prospective customers and investors.

What does “lean” actually mean? How does “lean” differ from conventional business planning? Ways to start “thinking lean”. Ultimately how to develop a sustainable business model in the presence of high levels of uncertainty.
