Speaker: Blake Powell
Budding entrepreneur Blake Powell will be sharing his experience and advice, the pitfalls and the highlights of his journey to running multiple successful businesses. Blake is the Managing Director of a number of companies including Accent IT Services Ltd. Blake is experienced with all aspects of start-up and small business management, having started and successfully run three companies. One of Accent IT’s software platforms, AccentPOS, won the European Business Innovation Award at the 2018 Food & Drinks Awards. The business has attracted some high-profile clients, notably BMW. BMW uses AccentPOS to automate staff and customer accounts, a process which has been unchanged for over 30 years.
Blake will share his experience that allows the business to reach its goals, focusing heavily on business development, product development, finance and customer service.
