The University of Portsmouth marks International Women’s Day

The day is marked by a worldwide celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, but also a recognition that much more work needs to be done if we are ever to achieve gender equality.

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #BreakTheBias, encouraging people to actively call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping and to commit to helping create a more inclusive world. Here are five ways the University is marking International Women’s Day.
