University of Portsmouth Open Day

Explore the city and our Campus, Before You Accept yOur Offer

Join us at one of our Applicant Experience Days, and take a closer look at student life in Portsmouth

After we've offered you a place on an undergraduate course you'll be invited to come to an Applicant Experience Day.

These events are tailored to your degree so you get to discover more about what you'll study and being a student here. You'll spend a good time in your academic department to get an insight into how you'll be taught, what facilities are available to you and even take part in some practical workshops or demos. We’ll also show you around so you can discover more about the city and University.

Choose from Saturday 8 February, Wednesday 4 March, Saturday 21 March and Saturday 25 April 2020. Please note that not all courses offer an Applicant Experience Day and that some courses aren't available on all dates.

Booking your Applicant Experience Day

We’ll send you an email with the booking link when we offer you a place on a course. Spaces are limited so booking in advance is essential to secure your place.

Can't find your email? Book your place below.

Courses with interviews

Some of our science and creative courses require you to attend an interview before we make a decision on your application.

If you apply for one of these courses, and following the interview you are offered a place, you'll be invited to attend our final Applicant Experience day on 25 April. This gives you the opportunity to visit our halls of residence, tour our campus and speak to many of our support staff about uni topics that matter to you.
