Overview
This intensive short course is for you if you have existing drama experience and are aiming to develop practical skills, prepare for auditions or apply to Drama Schools.
This 4-day course is a practical, intensive acting skills development opportunity in our drama studios. The course is ideal if you have some experience of drama and performance at school, college or university, are interested in developing your skills. The course will be particularly beneficial if you are planning to audition at Drama Schools, for example, or would like to attend auditions for acting roles of various kinds.

Teaching
The course is run by Ian Nicholson, a freelance director based in London and Portsmouth.
Ian trained as a director at the National Theatre, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and École Philippe Gaulier. He was Associate Director for the National Theatre on "we're here because we're here", created by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller, and Rufus Norris.
Ian has worked as a director for Nuffield Southampton Theatres, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre, and Royal and Derngate Northampton, among others. He has previously taught at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, LIPA, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and East 15.e the course
