The health and safety landscape of the UK is in a period of flux and it’s essential for anyone with a role in managing health and safety to understand and appreciate how changes in legislation might impact their practice.

This course will provide an update on recent changes to health and safety legislation and current priorities, as well as a refresher on key principles and practices. You’ll also use relevant case studies to consider best practice.

Alastair Barrett originally trained as a surveyor and entered the world of health and safety when an opportunity presented itself to carry out risk assessments whilst working with a shop fitting company.

This set Alastair on his health and safety journey and he’s now a Corporate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a certified member of the Association of Project Safety (APS).

He set up What No Safety Services Ltd 18 years ago with a team of specialist associates to offer bespoke health, safety and environmental services.
