Overview
There are many different ways of planning and managing a project. Project management differs from general management as it focusses on the delivery of an end-product within a finite timespan. It is not an ongoing process. As such, project managers need a range of skills that include technical skills and people management skills.
This Introduction to Project Management short course will give you an overview of key concepts, tools, techniques and processes. Using relevant case studies, you'll consider the whole project lifecycle. This course is ideal if you have no prior knowledge of project management, if you wish to refresh your knowledge or develop your confidence in managing projects.
