Our £3,000 Master's Scholarship for current students
If you achieve, or have already achieved, a first or upper second (2:1) Bachelor's degree and accept an offer on a Master's course before 28 June 2019, you could get £3,000 off your course tuition fee with our Master's Scholarship.
You can use this scholarship alongside the Government Postgraduate Loan scheme.
To be considered for this Master’s Scholarship you must be a UK student and:
- Accept an offer on a full-time (including distance learning) MA, MSc, MPA, MRes or LLM course before 28 June 2019, to commence in September 2019
- Achieve a first or upper second (2:1) honours degree
If you're not an undergraduate student here, see our Master's Scholarship for new students.
See terms and conditions for full eligibility criteria.
If you're studying a full-time Master’s course over 2 years you'll get the scholarship in the first year only.
These Master's Scholarships are limited. So we can't guarantee you'll get it if you're eligible.
You'll need to meet the specific entry criteria for the course you applied for. We give priority to students who show the highest academic achievement.
The University's decision on the allocation of the scholarship is in accordance with the terms and conditions and is final. There's no appeals process.
You can only get one University of Portsmouth scholarship. For example, this Master’s Scholarship or the Alumni Scholarship – not both.
Make sure you read and understand the scholarship terms and conditions before you accept, as an alternative University scholarship may be more suitable for you.
