What is an MD (Doctor of Medicine)?
An MD is a programme for medical professionals – who hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree or equivalent – to obtain a research degree. You'll take on research that draws on your clinical expertise, and your study may involve clinical trials, epidemiology, laboratory-based research, systematic review, social science or qualitative methodologies.
