Overview
The School of Geography and Environmental Sciences holds a 2-day short course each year in July for A-Level teachers. The aim of the course is to educate teachers on relevant A-level syllabus materials and can be used as a networking opportunity.
The short course consists of a series of lectures and workshops with opportunities to network with academic staff and industry followed by a field trip to the Isle of Wight.
We have been teaching Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering and Geological Hazards for 50 years. Read more about our undergraduate BEng (Hons) Engineering Geology and Geotechnics course.
Our course is accredited by the Geological Society of London and The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
