Overview

This evening course allows you to keep up to date with your infection prevention and control procedures.

You'll look at Covid-19, the chain of infection, spotting the signs of sepsis and good hand hygiene.

What You'll Experience

On this short course you'll:

  • Comprehend the basic requirements for good decontamination practice
  • Look at pre-sterilisation cleaning
  • Think about immunisations
  • Consider the correct use of PPE and RPE
  • Spot the signs of for example, sepsis SOPs, in the Covid-19 pandemic
  • Revisit hand hygiene

Teaching

You'll be taught by Jo Russell, qualified Internal Verifier for City and Guilds Dentist and CQC Registered Manager, with a background in the Royal Naval Dental Branch and as an area manager, looking after 16 practices in London and the South.
