This short course helps you unlock the potential of your mobile phone to create high quality video footage.

We'll outline how to achieve high quality footage on a budget, from formulating your ideas to shooting, editing and publishing a finished video.

This course includes a main session and an optional second session to explore post production.

You'll use you own phone on this course as well as our resources. Refreshments are provided. 

What You'll Experience

Session 1

The first session covers some core principles of video production and an introduction to planning your shoot in advance. You'll explore these processes with your own phone and will leave with a greater understanding of how to get the highest possible video quality. We'll also explore some accessories which can add to production.

Session 2

Our optional second session delves into the world of mobile video post production. You'll learn about free editing apps available for your device, the basic capabilities of Adobe Premiere Pro, and how to output your media for use across a variety of platforms.


You'll use your own phone and have access to specialist film studios and computer suites in Eldon and a demonstration of high end film production equipment.
