What Adjustment means for you

Know how you can get onto your ideal course

Received better results than expected?

Congratulations if you received better results than expected. It’s a great position to be in!

If you’re thinking about using your results to study a different course at the University of Portsmouth, you can apply through UCAS Adjustment.

UCAS Adjustment is easy to use, and we're on hand to help. The best thing to do is call our Clearing and Adjustment Hotline on +44 (0)23 9284 8090. An admissions advisor can tell you if you’re eligible for Adjustment and which courses are available. They'll guide you through the process.

How does UCAS Adjustment work?

If you got better grades than you needed for your firm choice and want to see what other courses you could apply to, you’ll need to register for Adjustment through UCAS Track. You can register as soon as you get your results.

You need to move pretty quickly though, because you only have five days after registering to secure a place. If you don’t find a different course, don’t worry, your unconditional place is safe.

Any questions?

If you have questions about the Adjustment process, we're here to talk you through it and help you think about your options. Call our Clearing and Adjustment Hotline on +44 (0)23 9284 8090 to have a chat with us. Make sure you have your personal ID at hand when you call.
