Biography

Dr Bradley completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Wariwck. He then completed a Master's in Psychological Research Methods at the University of Sussex before starting a PhD at the University of Nottingham.

Alex's thesis was looking at the antecedents to altruistic behaviour towards charities. This work included publication on the underdog effect and a meta analysis on the effects of observability on prosocial behaviour. During his PhD Alex completed an internship in the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology researching the effects of behaviour change policies. Upon completion of Alex's PhD he became a Teaching Fellow at the University of Nottingham before joining the team here at Portsmouth.

Research interests

I have a number of current research interests:

• Looking at the effects of career service engagement and employability
• Exploring the stratergies of gamabling companies  using social media to advertise their products
• Utilising big data methods like accessing API's and webscrapping to collect novel interesting data.
