Summary
As a passionate Teaching Fellow, my goal is to play an active role in shaping the next generation of Biomedical Scientists. Through my teaching, mentoring, and guidance, I aim to be both an example and a reference for my students, inspiring them to excel and achieve their full potential. As an experienced HCPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist, I am a firm believer in the power of evidence-based practice to make a tangible impact on people's lives. Over the past eight years, I have gained valuable experience working in healthcare, building my skills and expertise in this field. Prior to that, I worked as a research fellow, giving me a deep appreciation for the importance of rigorous scientific inquiry and investigation.
Through my work on projects with MSc students, I am now interested in understanding the pathological mechanisms underlying cancer progression and metastasis with a particular emphasis on the role of matrix metalloproteinases.
