Biography

Panos joined Portsmouth Law School in January 2013 as a Lecturer and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2014. He had previously taught EU law and human rights law at the London School of Economics, SOAS, City University, Queen Mary University London and the University of Essex. He holds a PhD in Law from the London School of Economics, an LLM from UCL and a first degree in Law from the School of law of the Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Research interests

Panos is currently the Departmental Research Degrees Coordinator for Portsmouth Law School, academic lead of the BaL - SaR / SSiC bursary programme (in collaboration with Scholars at Risk), member of the Race Equality Charter committee and member of the University of Sanctuary working group.
