Biography

I am a Principal Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Portsmouth, where I am Subject Area Leader for PG programmes, contributing to the MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL in particular.

I have been involved in teacher education for many years, including both pre-service and in-service programmes and my main research interests relate to ELT methodology, teacher education and materials writing. I have been invited to speak at conferences and events around the world on these topics.
