Summary
I'm a Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil Engineering and Surveying at the University of Portsmouth, specialising in Quantity Surveying.
Prior to working in higher education I spent 20 years in private practice with Faithful + Gould, Mott MacDonald and AECOM, and have provided consultancy services on a wide range of construction projects ranging from retail fit-outs and primary schools to national stadia and major transport infrastructure.
I became a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2007, and act as an APC Assessor for RICS.
