Dr David Errickson is a forensic archaeologist and anthropologist with expertise in the application of archaeological and anthropological approaches to forensic investigation. He began his academic training at the University of Bradford, completing a Diploma in Archaeological Studies and BSc in Archaeology before undertaking an MSc in Forensic Archaeology and Crime Scene Investigation.

David subsequently completed his PhD at Teesside University, where he also taught before moving to Cranfield University. At Cranfield, he held a number of academic and leadership responsibilities, including serving as Head of Cranfield Forensic Institute.
