I am a senior lecturer in Computer Games Technology. I have over 30 years experience in the games industry, in many roles from artist and programmer to managing director. I have a special interest in game engine technology, which included building my own sophisticated games engine. I am also active in researching and developing game asset production pipelines, as such relates to engine technology and my teaching. 
My extensive experience in the games industry (including over 50 published titles) informs my ability to monitor and predict future trends and innovations in this fast moving area.
As of 2015 I am also now Course Leader for the BSc Computer Games Technology course.
