I have taught in Higher Education since 2002,  I am currently the Head of the School of Strategy, Marketing and Innovation as well as the Chair of the Faculty EDI Committee. Diversity and inclusion has connected my research and education activities, with a particular interest in improving the experience of international students and neurodiverse students in higher education. I am a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools International Committee.

Throughout my academic career I have maintained a research interest in sustainable tourist behaviour, more recently expanding my interests into inclusive tourism. I have delivered presentations at a number of high profile conferences including the Royal Geographical Society Annual Conference, Chartered Association of Business Schools Annual Conference and the Higher Education Academy Annual Conference as well as delivering lectures, in the marketing of tourist destinations, at European universities.
