Summary

I am a senior lecturer in accounting and financial management. I joined Portsmouth Business School in August 2016. Prior to that, I spent three years at the University of Dundee as a tutor where I taught various financial and management accounting modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students. I completed my PhD in Accounting & Finance from the same university. My PhD thesis, funded by the University of Dundee, examined the institutional determinants of fair value disclosure of listed companies. Prior to that, I secured a Distinction in my Master of Research degree. I was commended as ‘the most outstanding Masters student of the University of Dundee’s School of Business’ for my academic performance. In tandem with my PhD, I completed the ACCA qualification to fortify my professional accountancy skills and I'm now an affiliated member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
