Research Interests

My research interests are in critical interventions in art history; philosophy and aesthetics of modernity; aesthetics and politics in British art history in the late seventies and eighties; the politics of memory as deconstructive critique; ethics, justice and injustice in aesthetic discourse.

Formerly, as Associate Dean of Research for the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, I oversaw all aspects of research and its development in the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI).

Biography

I joined the University of Portsmouth in 1993. I am Associate Dean (Academic) for the Facuulty of Technology and former Associate Dean (Research) for the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries.
