I am currently Director of the MSc Business and Management and the MSC International Business and Management. I have published in the area of Management Cybernetics and Strategic Management. My current focus is on Student Engagement with particular reference to assessment.
I have worked for over eighteen years in the Higher Education sector teaching UK and international students at both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as commercial clients. Before entering academe I worked in design and commercial engineering in the heavy industrial sector.
My research publications have been in the area of applying cybernetic principles to strategic issues such as change leadership and knowledge management as well as management education and knowledge project management.
I currently teach postgraduate students in Management and Management Development and lead the modules; Management Specialism, Management Development and the MBM Research Project (Management) all on the MSc Business and Management.
