I have more than 20 years' industry experience, working globally with the commercial teams of companies such as PepsiCo, Audi and Canon, specialising in consumer insight and brand strategy. I have lived and worked in both Switzerland and Germany and facilitated strategy sessions, workshops and training right across the world, from USA through Europe to Asia including China, Japan and Singapore.  I have been responsible for managing large consumer research programmes in over 70 countries worldwide. Subject specialisms include sustainability, nutrition and ethics, all from a consumer perspective. 

I remain active in business, being involved with a number of SME start-ups and also as Director and Trustee of the Royal Navy's principal charity - Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

I bring this wealth of experience to my academic role of Programme Lead for undergraduate generalist business courses, including the Faculty's flagship course - BA (Hons) Business & Management.
