Summary

I am a Teaching Fellow in the Strategy Enterprise and Innovation subject group in the Faculty of Business and Law.

My broad range of business experience has been particularly beneficial in my teaching activities at Portsmouth University since 2008.

For over 35 years I have managed teams and achieved growth within a range of different sized companies. Job roles have varied from Production Manager (Hawker Siddeley) to Operations Director (Spectris plc). In recent years I established my own company, grew it and then sold it.

All roles have involved a significant element of coaching and mentoring, both of individuals and of teams.

I have researched a large variety of business venture opportunities, as well as business process and facility ventures. This includes leading and supervising design, engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve business success and growth.
