Biography

I am a working artist and filmmaker, born in a dead part of England, and making work about what that means. I began my career as a freelancer on a variety of animation, film and illustration projects, but now work independently. Recent work includes two short films for the BBC, BFI and Arts Council - titled //_sleeper and When the Tides Went Down.

Outside of my practice, I also lecture in Art Direction for Animation at the University of Portsmouth. My teaching practice focusses on pre-production approaches, ideation and animation aesthetics.
