Her research interests explore the notions of cultural, social and political representations within photography. Cultural diversity, diasporic and migratory narratives, personal stories and histories through the use of image and text are common themes throughout her work. She has years of experience of working collaboratively and creatively on projects with both individuals and groups of people from a wide diversity of backgrounds. She is interested not only in the resulting work but also in the process that this can take and the impact and empowering nature that these collaborations can have on people's lives.
