I am a Principal Lecturer at Portsmouth Law School, specialising in employment and discrimination law and I have responsibility for employability and the School's Clinical Legal Education modules. My research focuses on issues relating to discrimination in employment and with experiential learning.
I studied law at the University of London and having previously worked in both local and central government and been head of departments in further education colleges, I joined the Faculty of Business and Law in 2007.
I am interested in all aspects of employment law and am currently focusing on issues related to discrimination. I am also very interested in research assoiciated with equipping our students with the skills and experience demanded by modern legal practice and the wider work place.
I teach employment and discrimination law to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and undertake training with our students who, as part of the curriculum, work alongside professionals in a number of external settings.
